Peter Hertling advices national and international businesses on all aspects of patenting. Peter has more than 15 years of experience, and possesses a combination of legal skills and industry knowledge obtained by drafting and prosecuting a large number of international patent applications and preparation of infringement and freedom-to-operate assessments. Peter regularly represents clients in opposition and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office. His technical fields of specialization include medical devices, control engineering, software, shipbuilding, and automation technology. Peter graduated as a Master of Science from the Technical University of Denmark, and he has worked with industrial automation at Odense Steel Shipyard prior to entering the patent profession.
