Velaja Hammer is a consultant for primarily medium and larger sized companies in all aspects within IPR including: invention identification, patent prosecution in general, patenting strategies, freedom-to-operate analyses, and invalidity assessments, as well as prosecution of and representation at opposition and appeals proceedings. Velaja has a technical background holding a PhD from DTU within solid mechanics followed by postdoc positions at DTU, AAU, and Aarhus School of Architecture. Her main technical fields of expertise include mechanical design, material science especially composites, fluid mechanics, aerodynamics, medical devices, and software. Velaja is a member of ADIPA and EPI and a regular lecturer at DIFI’s patent courses.
