Martin has experience with counselling Danish and international clients from academia as well as industry, in particular with regard to assessing patentability, drafting and prosecution of patent applications. His fields of technical expertise are physics, nanotechnology, mechanics, materials science and optics. Martin has a technical background in Technical Physics from University of Aarhus, with parts of the studies and research taking place at the Technical University of Berlin and at the University of Basel. His research primarily focused on nanomechanical sensors for biological applications, through which he has gained a broad insight into the area interfacing physics and molecular biology. He worked as a postdoc at the Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center at Aarhus University prior to entering the patent profession.
