Patent consultancy
As a patent consultant, I advise Danish and international companies and universities. I draft patent application and prosecute these with the authorities, and I also prepare FTO analyses.
Focus areas and educational background
Before joining Inspicos, I was a patent consultant at another IP law firm for almost 4 years, where I drafted and prosecuted numerous patent applications and FTO analyses in the field of biotechnology and life science.
I hold a PhD in Pharmaceutical Science and an MSc in Biochemistry, from the University of Copenhagen.
Technical fields of specialization
I work within biotechnology, molecular biology, protein chemistry, peptide chemistry, process-biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.
Experience
Since 2020, I have worked as a patent consultant, advising both large multinational companies, universities and small start-ups. During my time as a patent consultant I have experienced that for each individual case, you have to align the needs, requirements and wishes that the client has for the specific project in order to obtain the optimal protection for exactly their business needs.
Before signing up as a patent consultant, I was a researcher at the University of Copenhagen, where conducted research in the intersection between synaptic biology, protein chemistry and design of inhibitors of protein-protein interactions, and I was especially intrigued by multivalent interactions and phase-separation in such systems.
For me simplicity is the cornerstone in the collaboration between the consultant and the client, in communication, as well as when it comes to getting the job done. If we, together with the client, can get the complex details of the case formulated in a simple and understandable language, then we can together create more value for the client.
When not advising clients, I spend my remaining time pursuing adventures with the family and do all the sports that time allows.
