Patent consultancy
I collaborate with large industrial clients and start-up firms to obtain patent protection for inventions in my areas of expertise and to defend these patents in any subsequent opposition proceedings. I further provide assistance in freedom to operate assessments and infringement issues.
Focus areas and educational background
I have recently passed the European Qualifying Examination administrated by the European Patent Office, allowing me to represent clients as a European Patent Attorney. In addition, I am currently studying to become a Certified Danish Patent Agent. I obtained a Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Denmark Technical University, where I have also conducted research as a postdoctoral researcher.
Technical fields of specialization
My background in mechanical engineering allows me to work in a broad range of technical fields, such as production technologies, specifically 3D printing, automation, simulation, robotics, AI, medical devices and HVAC technologies.
Experience
Before joining Inspicos, I worked as a patent attorney at another intellectual property firm where my responsibilities encompassed drafting and prosecuting patent applications, conducting freedom-to-operate analyses, infringement and validity assessments, and handling oppositions.
In my free time, I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors with my family and friends, whether it's hiking, camping or surfing.
