Patent consultancy
As a patent consultant at Inspicos, I help innovators protect their inventions, defend their rights, and navigate the IP landscape. Working closely with clients and my colleagues, I assist with drafting and prosecution of patent applications, handling of oppositions and appeals, third-party observations, due diligence and freedom-to-operate analyses, and litigation cases.
Focus areas and educational background
I specialize in patents in the fields of chemistry and life science as well as SPCs and regulatory protection for medicinal products. My scientific background includes a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Copenhagen, a Master’s degree in chemistry from ETH Zurich, and a Master’s degree in molecular biology and chemistry, also from ETH Zurich. Prior to joining Inspicos, I was a PhD candidate in pharmaceutical innovation law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Copenhagen.
Technical fields of specialization
I advise on IP matters across all areas of chemistry and pharmaceuticals. My technical expertise includes, notably, organic and inorganic chemistry, catalysis, process chemistry, materials chemistry, polymers, coatings and paints, food chemistry, peptide and protein chemistry, quantum chemistry, medical devices, and small-molecule and peptide-based drugs.
“I am committed to turning our clients’ technical solutions into strong and valuable IP. I am fascinated by science and technology and love seeing new ideas develop into products and processes that benefit society. I also have a strong passion for teaching in chemistry and IP law.”
