Webinar 2 October 2025, 09:00 – 10:00 (CEST)

The EPO Enlarged Board of Appeal has had a busy summer.

On 2 July 2025, the EBA decided on ‘black-box disclosuresin decision G 1/23, overturning its own previous case law.

In G 1/24 of 18 June 2025, a fundamental principle of claim interpretation was laid down, harmonizing EPO and UPC practice.

On 29 July 2025, the EBA received a new referral, pending as G 1/25, on the question of adaptation of the description to amended claims.

In this webinar, Jakob Pade Frederiksen and Edward J. Farrington of Inspicos review the cases and their potential consequences.
